- Generate and issue accurate invoices to customers
- Deliver professional and efficient credit control processes
- Ensure timely billing, with all accounts processed by the first working week following month-end
- Manage and maintain unresolved appointments within the system
- Proactively chase overdue payments via phone and email within agreed timelines
- Accurately allocate payments and remittances on a regular basis
- Maintain and reconcile lodgements from multiple locations
- Process and record financial transactions including receipts, credit notes, refunds, and adjustments
- Perform monthly debtor reconciliations
- Prepare financial and performance reports as required
- Provide cover for team members when needed
- 2-3 years' experience in an accounts receivable or accounts assistant role
- Experience with accounting systems is advantageous but not essential
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
