The successful candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and complianceSupervision and Coordination: Oversee a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards for both mechanical and electrical systems, including representation of the company as point of contact for our client.Maintenance Operations Management: Manage preventive maintenance programs for mechanical and electrical systems including supervision of Contractors on site ensuring correct functionality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.Troubleshooting and Repairs: Lead troubleshooting efforts and oversee repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring timely resolution of issues to minimise downtime.Equipment Inspection and Assessment: Conduct routine inspections and assessments of mechanical and electrical systems, identifying potential problems and implementing solutions to prevent breakdowns or failures.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repairs. Generate reports on maintenance metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and efficiency.Team Development and Training: Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, standards, and regulations for all maintenance activities related to mechanical and electrical systems in line with company standard and EHS procedures.RequirementsAdvanced craft certificate in relevant field.
