Given the ongoing growth of our product portfolio and the continual defence of existing product authorisations through the renewal process, we have exciting opportunities in our Regulatory team for scientists who wish to put their knowledge and training to use in a science based, commercial R&D environment.Are you ready to innovate? To ensure our continued success in Europe, we are looking to recruit, ambitious, talented regulatory professionals who are seeking opportunities to put their expertise to work in a stimulating, high-growth business where regulatory really matters.What the Role involvesFYI : The role is suitable for graduate level scientists with a background in environmental science, ecotoxicology, ecology or a related discipline. Prior knowledge of pesticide regulatory affairs is not required for this role and thorough training will be provided.
  • Drafting position papers and bespoke refinement strategies.
  • Ecotoxicological risk assessment of pesticides in the environment.
  • Building creative technical solutions to unique scientific issues for environmental risk assessments.
  • Commissioning and management of GLP studies elucidating the toxicity of chemicals to model organisms.
  • Derivation of endpoints for use in risk assessments for birds, mammals, fish etc.
  • Determination of refinement options and higher tier approaches in line with EU guidance.
  • Dossier generation.
What we expect
  • Excellent academic record in a relevant scientific subject. A degree is essential, with a masters or PhD being an advantage.
  • Academic experience in environmental science, ecology or ecotoxicology.
  • Any knowledge of ecology, risk assessment, environmental impact assessment or ecotoxicology is desirable.
  • Ability to present clear and concise written arguments to support a specific regulatory or scientific position on a topic.
  • Perform tasks in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team, in meeting strict timelines.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work in an environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proactively seek to add value to processes, both existing and new.
  • Performance driven, with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Keen interest in AI advantageous!
