An exciting opportunity has arisen for aQuality Assurance Technologistto join a dynamic food manufacturing environment based in Co. Meath. This role is responsible for maintaining day-to-day quality assurance practices and supporting the implementation of food safety and quality standards across the site.Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with company procedures, food safety legislation, and industry standards
Liaise with technical departments across suppliers and customers
Support new product development including ingredient selection and functionality
Ensure manufacturing operations meet current regulatory and legislative requirements
Maintain and improve Quality Management Systems, including HACCP
Monitor and report on KPIs, investigate deviations, and implement corrective actions
Lead investigations into non-conformance and customer complaints
Prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are addressed
Perform quality checks on production samples against set specifications
Support continuous improvement initiatives across production and quality systems
Conduct internal audits, inspections, and traceability exercises

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree in Food Science or related discipline
Strong attention to detail and understanding of technical standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Methodical and disciplined in adhering to procedures and specifications
