Duties and responsibilities would include:
- Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR) water chapters for quarry, power and built environment projects;
- Management of water monitoring programmes and detailed technical report writing;
- Development of Conceptual Site Models;
- Permitting / Licencing, including Discharge Licences and Industrial Emissions Licencing;
- Site work including management and supervision of drilling and water sampling; and
- Technical report writing and review.
The role will involve undertaking site work, which may include working away from home for short periods and attending client meetings both locally and further afield as required.About us

If you think this could be the right role for you, we would love to hear from you. As an experienced Hydrogeology/Hydrology consultant/scientist/engineer, we’d envisage that you would be able to demonstrate:
- A relevant degree level qualification (Geoscience or similar), an appropriate Hydrogeology or Hydrology postgraduate level qualification would be advantageous.
- Hydrogeological or Hydrological experience gained in a consultancy or similar commercial environment post-graduation including project management and delivery.
- Demonstrable experience in experience of Water EIAR chapters, the development of hydrogeological and/or hydrological conceptual site models, management of monitoring and drilling programmes and all associated Water Environment report writing.
- Full current driving license
