Accommodation SupervisorReports to:Housekeeping ManagerMain function:The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the standards of cleanliness are met. They assign tasks, inspect work to ensure it's up to standard, and provide training on how to best handle customers' requests in absence of the Housekeeping Manager.Required Part Time, including Weekends and Holidays.About the roleMain duties and responsibilitiesTrain housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasksOversee staff in absence of the ManagerCheck rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanlinessSchedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absenceEstablish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standardsMotivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the jobRespond to customer complaints and special requestsMonitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber glovesParticipate in large cleaning projects as requiredEnsure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areasAbout the companyA family-run hotel & bar group owned and managed by the Gallen Family.Required Criteria

Right to work in Ireland
Good Command of English Language

Desired Criteria

Proven housekeeping or hospitality experience.
Working knowledge of housekeeping.
