**First Year Apprentice Vacancy** We are a family run spring calving dairy farm located in North Kilkenny focused on delivering top class herd performance, low stress animal handling and improved soil health. We rear all our own young stock on farm & contract out most machinery work. Facilities include 54-bale rotary parlour with auto-wash, auto-teat spray, auto-drafter and excellent housing facilities. We are a passionate, progressive & highly motivated team from mixed age & experience profiles who encourage discussion, continuous growth & development through participation in on-farm meetings, discussion groups, training & courses. Other staff employed on farm - full & part time Rostered time off, meals provided, excellent staff accommodation available on site if required in a newly constructed apartment. **Duties include** Full immersion into the day to day operation of a modern dairy farm - Milking, calf rearing, heat detection, grass management, some machinery work, fencing, general farm maintenance **Requirements** Punctuality Enthusiasm Dairy farming experience preferable Provisional licence Tractor driving experience CV & References
