The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of solutions for mid to enterprise level organisations. We are looking for an individual who enjoys a fast pace, can prioritise workload, and is eager to gain industry experience. You will have solid background in Microsoft and/or Oracle technologies with a Continuous Service Improvement mindset. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to progress their existing skills with a leading Microsoft Gold Partner and Oracle Platinum Partner working with cutting edge technologies.This exciting opportunity will see the candidate working within a team of experienced Oracle and SQL Server Database Administrators, exercising, and developing the wide range of necessary skills that distinguishes a well-rounded consultant:Competencies· The technical ability to troubleshoot complex issues.· A collaborative team member and worked effectively to meet deadlines.· Develops understanding of client’s business, applications, and users.· Effectively communicate technical issues to business users.· Ability to identify, recommend and implement continuous service improvements.· Client facing skills.Qualifications· 5 years + experience (including 3-year specialist experience in an Oracle DBA support role)· IT or Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.· Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability· Knowledge of the constraints and challenges of supporting a secure, high-availability IT environments.· Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.· Ability to work effectively as part of a team.· Working experience in the following technology areas:

Oracle Database Administration.
SQL Server Database Administration
Red Hat Linux or Oracle Linux Administration.
Oracle Exadata Administration a plus
Oracle RAC Administration
Oracle ASM Administration
Database Backup and Recovery procedures (RMAN),
Oracle Data Guard configuration and administration.
