Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel is currently seeking to recruit a confident, outgoing and professional Fitness Instructor to join the Team on a part-time basis.   • Welcome and introduce new members to the gym, carrying out comprehensive inductions
  • Design and deliver individualised training programmes tailored to members’ goals
  • Provide one-on-one and group fitness consultations, including personal training sessions
  • Ensure the Leisure Centre, including the gym, pool, and changing facilities, is clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times—maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards is a vital part of this role
  • Lead and instruct fitness classes with energy and professionalism
  • Supervise the gym floor, ensuring equipment is used safely and maintained to a high standard
  • Deliver friendly, knowledgeable support to both members and hotel guests
  • Assist with the daily operations of the Leisure Centre, including reception duties and administrative support where required
  • Promote health, fitness, and overall well-being in a welcoming and supportive environment
Ideal candidate for this role:
  • NCEF qualification or equivalent is essential
  • Lifeguard Qualification is essential
  • Experience in teaching group exercise classes
  • Experience in writing fitness programmes
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
  • Pool plant qualification would be an advantage
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
  • Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU
