The post will be placed in the West Cork Animal Welfare Group. Walk kennel dogs, Pooper scoop kennels, Clean kennels, Feed dogs & cats, Load & unload the washing machine, Wash & groom, Carrying & stacking bags of food. There is also general upkeep of the place like weeding in between the slabs and strimming of grass in the exercise area. The benefits that someone would gain working at our Rescue would be - hands on experience dealing with animals, basic grooming, working as a team, interacting with the public to mention a few. The person would need to obviously have a love of animals, be prepared to get wet & dirty and be able to tolerate a loud, busy and stressy but enjoyable atmosphere!
