Qualified Accountant wanted for Global Reinsurance Company-Dublin CityAbrivia are currently recruiting for a Qualified Accountant to join our client, a Global Reinsurance Company, based in Dublin City Centre. This role reports directly into the Financial Controller and will work closely with brokers and clients.The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant and have prior experience within the Reinsurance/Insurance sector or alliteratively within the wider Financial Services Market.My client offers a hybrid model of 2 days a week in the office and an excellent package including bonus, health, pension and much more!Your Role:

Analyse client statements and technical accounts for discrepancies and investigate differences with clients and brokers.
Manage relationships with brokers and clients for reinsurance transactions.
Coordinate with Reinsurance Division Operations for timely provision of technical accounts.
Communicate with Reinsurance Division Pricing for accurate accounting of renewal terms.
Prepare monthly and quarterly transaction-based accounts and report to senior management.
Collaborate on deal-specific budgets for 3-5 years.
Conduct variance analysis and present findings to senior management quarterly.
Establish accounting processes for all reinsurance transactions.

Your Skills:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant.
Post qualification experience within Reinsurance/Insurance or Financial Services
Ability to collaborate across Pricing, Valuations, and Operations teams.
Assertive, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously or in teams.
Flexible and enthusiastic with a strong appetite for learning and development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including conveying complex concepts effectively.
