Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager 2Location: DublinOverview: FRS recruitment has a new exciting position available for a Clinical Nurse Manager 2. You will play a pivotal role in the delivery of exceptional patient care and the management of nursing staff within our clients state of the art hospital setting. This position requires a skilled and experienced nurse leader who can effectively coordinate clinical operations, mentor and develop nursing staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and oversight to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.Staff Management: Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development opportunities.Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day clinical operations within assigned units or departments. Coordinate staffing schedules, manage patient flow, and ensure adequate resources are available to meet patient care needs.Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction. Monitor clinical performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement evidence-based practices to drive positive change.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and industry best practices. Stay abreast of changes in healthcare regulations and standards of care, and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.Collaboration: Foster a collaborative work environment by effectively communicating with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff. Promote teamwork, interdisciplinary collaboration, and open communication to optimize patient care delivery.Patient Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected and addressed throughout the healthcare continuum. Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote positive outcomes and satisfaction.Education and Training: Provide educational support and training to nursing staff on clinical best practices, new procedures, and technologies. Facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance staff competency and performance.Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RGN)
  • Recent managerial experience working within a similiar role
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality improvement principles, and patient safety standards
