- A relevant third level qualification in Positive Behaviour Supports, Applied Behaviour Analysis, etc. (Preferably to a Master’s degree level).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experiences as relevant to the role; with people who have an intellectual disability/autism that present with behaviours of concern.
- A working knowledge of the implementation of Positive Behavioural Support Plans. Understanding of the behavioural support assessment, implementation and evaluation procedures.
- Applicants should be confident and self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills, planning and organisational skills with the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively with others (i.e. with families/other members of the multi-disciplinary team).
- The ability to problem solve and facilitate problem solving.
- Flexible in their approach to service delivery.
- Very good IT skills.
- Full clean driving license and access to own vehicle is essential.
