Working Model: HybridAbrivia are currently recruiting for a Compliance Associate to join our client within the captive and (re)insurance space. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working within insurance, reinsurance, a captive, or a specialist underwriting environment who is keen to transition into a dedicated compliance career.The role offers structured mentoring and hands-on exposure to regulatory reporting, board documentation, and compliance oversight across multiple regulated entities. The successful candidate will be developed into a compliance professional over time, with strong long-term progression potential.Your Role
- Assist in the preparation of board packs and regulatory reporting documentation.
- Monitor regulatory updates and support impact assessments across entities.
- Support oversight of quarterly and annual regulatory submissions.
- Assist with annual returns, director updates, and statutory filings.
- Respond to internal regulatory queries from stakeholders.
- Support compliance projects across captive and reinsurance entities.
- Contribute to developing compliance processes and documentation.
- Background within insurance, reinsurance, captive, or specialist underwriting environment.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in report preparation and document review.
- Experience preparing structured reports, underwriting documentation, or board materials is advantageous.
- Clear interest in compliance and willingness to pursue compliance qualifications.
- Ability to digest regulatory material and apply it practically to the business.
- Confident communicator with ambition to build a long-term compliance career.
- Comfortable working independently within a flexible hybrid model.
