Welder/Fabricator - County Westmeath

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements to plan fabrication and welding tasks
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Cut, grind, and prepare metal components for assembly
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic processes in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead)
• Inspect and test finished welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards
• Repair and maintain production equipment and components as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment

• Certified welding qualification from a recognised training provider
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong knowledge of different metals and their properties
• Skilled in using fabrication tools including grinders, saws, drills, and plasma cutters
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently
• Commitment to health & safety practices at all times
