- Oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with regard to National Regulations.
- Engage with the community and spearhead initiatives that enhance residents’ experiences.
- Manage resources efficiently, contributing to both resident satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Communicate effectively with the individuals we support, their families and people important in each individuals’ life.
- Ability to work on their own initiative as well as supporting colleagues within a Team.
- Support the maintenance of up to date and accurate recording to ensure and demonstrate a high standard of care and support to each resident.
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills including; planning, data management, IT and organisational skills.
- Have a robust knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards and statutory requirements and their responsibilities as a Person In Charge.
- Have Qualification appropriate to the role e.g. Nursing, Social Care, other relevant qualification.
- 3 years’ supervisory/managerial experience qualifying them to take on the role of PIC within intellectual
- Full current manual driving licence to drive in Ireland.
- Participation in the regional On-call roster.
- Suitability as outlined above.
