
Financial Accountant (French)

- Record manual entries in the ERP (Oracle) on a monthly basis and before the 2nd working day of the following month.
- Analyze monthly transactions and monthly balances of French entities according to USGAAP standards.
- Participate in monthly closings according to USGAAP standards through entries, analyses, and reporting.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts in the reconciliation tool (ARCS) according to the schedule determined by the group.
- File declarations and pay taxes according to legal and fiscal obligations.
- Perform annual accounting closing operations and accounting closing in French standards.
- Respond to requests during internal, external, and statutory audits.
- Prepare and validate the tax package and legal file for general meetings.
- Replace the Accounting Manager during absences or unavailability.
- Support and/or lead project management for improvements (Lean methodology).
- Supervise and assist team members in support of the Accounting Manager.
- Translate USGAAP balances into French standards and reconcile differences.
- Calculate and reconcile deferred taxes and manage temporary differences between USGAAP and French books.
- Members of the accounting team and management controllers on a daily basis
- Accounting services from other countries (Ireland, India, Italy) in English.
- Various administrative, production services, SOX auditors, or tax administration occasionally.
- Occasional relations with SOX or internal auditors.
- Statutory auditors and financial consultants annually.
- Holder of a BAC+5 type DSCG, with significant experience of 5 to 10 years.
- To excel in your role, you will need to speak fluent French & English and be advanced in Excel and its functionalities such as "SUMIF", "VLOOKUP", "XLOOKUP"...
- We are looking for a profile with an in-depth knowledge of dual-book accounting principles (USGAAP and French standards) as well as deferred taxes.
- Experience with ORACLE would be a plus.
