- Preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Prepare financial reports for senior management and provide insights for decision-making.
- Preparation and submission of regulatory returns.
- Review of investments, including portfolio reporting and decision making with the CFO and management team.
- Implement credit control policies and procedures.
- Monitor and support the management of credit risk exposure.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance and credit control functions.
- Implement efficiency measures to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with other departments, risk management, compliance, and operations, to achieve overall organisational goals.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Qualified/Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or qualified accounting technician
- Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
- Proven experience in finance and credit control roles
- Proven people management skills.
- Strong understanding of financial operations and regulatory requirements.
- Strong IT skills particularly Excel
