Location: Inchicore Primary Care CentreSalary: Aligned with HSE Senior OT pay scalesExcellent opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist looking to progress!Excel Recruitment are recruiting a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a Primary Care team based in Inchicore Primary Care Centre, with some sessions in Ballyfermot Primary Care Centre.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to take on a senior role within a supportive, child-centred multidisciplinary team, offering strong clinical leadership, autonomy, and opportunities to contribute to service development.OverviewAs a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role within the Primary Care multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, child-centred assessment and intervention services for children aged 9 years and older.You will manage a complex paediatric caseload and provide clinical guidance and support to junior staff, while contributing to the ongoing development and enhancement of the service.This role offers a collaborative and supportive environment, where senior clinicians are encouraged to lead, innovate, and drive best practice in paediatric care.Summary:

- Manage a complex paediatric caseload, delivering high-quality assessments and interventions
- Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based therapy plans
- Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to junior Occupational Therapists and students
- Deliver therapy across clinic, school, home, and group settings
- Support children with Autism, DCD, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental conditions
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including SLTs, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and PHNs
- Liaise with families, schools, and community professionals to ensure holistic care
- Contribute to service planning, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with HSE and CORU standards
- Engage in ongoing CPD, reflective practice, and professional leadership
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
- CORU Registration (Essential)
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience, with paediatric experience essential
- Experience managing complex caseloads and working within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience providing supervision or mentorship desirable
- Strong knowledge of paediatric conditions including Autism, DCD, ADHD, and developmental delays
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a senior role
- Flexibility to travel between Inchicore and Ballyfermot sites
