- Ensure provision of deliverables to clients are of good quality and are issued in a timely manner.
- Work with the regional health and safety team and asset operations to support the implementation of the safety management system.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments in various sites across the region.
- Conduct incident investigations in various locations across the region.
- Establish positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, gain their confidence and manage their expectations in a competitive environment.
- Become the focal point for communication on SHEQ matters.
- Support business development including: the creation & closing of opportunities, and preparing proposals / bids
- Maintain high standards of commission management for SHQ Ireland including contract execution and other internal risk management / quality processes.
- Take responsibility for the quality and commercial delivery aspects of your work.
- Develop skills and share knowledge within the SHQ team and wider business.
- Assist with the training and development of junior members of staff and the wider T&T business.
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health or similar qualification awarded as part of the national framework of qualifications.
- Working knowledge of Irish Safety, Health and Environment Legislation and international best practice for the construction industry.
- A minimum of 5 years design and construction related experience.
- Experience in the PSDP role, or equivalent, demonstrating extensive knowledge of the design process and associated legislation.
- Experience of inspection, auditing and preparation of in-depth reports for clients.
- Record of Continuing Professional Development.
- Experienced in ISO 45001:2018 (OHSAS 18001), Safety Management Systems.
- Experience in multiple construction sectors (Residential, Education, Health, Infrastructure, Mixed-Use etc.).
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Driving license and own transportation.
