As a Technical Executive, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the company’s reputation for exceptional quality. Working closely with the Technical Manager, you’ll support technical compliance ensuring seamless coordination between suppliers and customers.Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Technical queries via email.
- Completing customer questionnaires, including sending customer BRCGS relating documents.
- Ongoing monitoring of supplier approval. Review suppliers’ BRC certs and product specifications.
- Checking if suppliers are up to date with documentation. This involves contacting current suppliers directly.
- Ensure supplier temperature data logger read outs are downloaded and saved in supplier folders
- Manage the (external) laboratory testing schedule and ensure products are tested monthly to the analysis schedule.
- Log samples with laboratory and organise collection. Review of laboratory results when received.
- Ensure supplier loading reports are received and monitored.
- Ensure all samples are logged on the sample tracker, receipted and stored correctly.
- Ensure COA's are received from supplier based on schedule. This involves contacting suppliers directly
- Monthly horizon scanning- TACCP/VACCP monitoring.
- Assist in reviewing of specifications and 6 monthly reviews of one-page specifications.
- Previous experience in a food technical role is required.
- Knowledge of HACCP and BRCGS compliance is required.
- A qualification in food safety, food science, or a related field.
- Good numeracy skills for data tracking and reporting.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office. (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
- A valid EU work permit.
