You’ll provide the talent, ambition, and drive.As a Data Analyst, the individual will be part of a pharmacy analytics team, driving data-informed decisions to improve healthcare outcomes. You will work with complex datasets to uncover insights, identify operational and clinical challenges, and develop data-driven solutions that support strategic initiatives. You will additionally be responsible for creating insightful reports that enable business leaders to identify gaps and growth opportunities. You will work with the team and Business Partners to refine, maintain, and enhance dashboards to ensure they meet evolving business needs. This role involves tackling challenging and business-critical tasks, with opportunities to become a thought leader for the wider team.Schedule: Full-time position, Monday – Friday with standard working hoursCareers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements and individuals who live and work in the Republic of Ireland will have the opportunity to split their monthly work hours between our Dublin or Letterkenny Office and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model.Primary Responsibilities:

Research, interpret, and analyze diverse and complex data, identify opportunities and drive business decisions
Analyze data trends and create documentation to support all reports, conduct quality monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability
Implement process improvement initiatives and automation for efficiency where appropriate
Make recommendations based on data analysis and provide explanations for reporting results as needed
Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Partners to effectively gather requirements and ensure reports and dashboards meet customer expectations
Identify challenges and opportunities, develop solutions and communicate to clients and internal stakeholders
Maintain clear, well-organized documentation of data processes, analytical methodologies and dashboard logic to ensure transparency, reproducibility and team alignment

Proven experience in data analysis to develop business insight and strategy
Data manipulation and data transformation skills and proficiency in SQL and scripting language – Python
Proficiency with excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in tools such as Databricks, Airflow, GitHub, Snowflake, Azure cloud environment
Experience working with technical and business professionals in a matrix management environment
Experience in the healthcare industry, either from a pharmaceutical background or consulting firm
Experience in deploying large scale analytical solutions or working in a large multinational company

Soft Skills:

Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Communication skills to present findings clearly
Natural curiosity for understanding patterns, trends and the “why” behind the data
