We are looking for a Helpdesk Technician to join our team in Dublin. This person will have a huge impact on the ability of our Customer Success and Sales Teams to function to their full potential. You will be helping to maintain our overall IT infrastructure, ensuring that day to day operations run smoothly and help push projects forward that will help keep our company in line with scalable solutions and efficient strategies.
About the Role
- Configure, maintain, and support desktop systems and office/network equipment, including Windows Server, AV Conferencing, Cisco & related hardware.
- Support office and remote employees with all IT-related activities such as new software installations, configurations, updates & hardware installation as well as support and troubleshooting of local and cloud based applications.
- New Hire onboarding including the provisioning of all software and hardware required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve all general IT issues within the company.
- Plan and schedule activities to meet deadlines established by others to ensure the completion of several related tasks.
- Previous experience supporting Apple Macbooks would be extremely advantageous.
- Configuration and installation of primarily MacOS systems and application services running on these platforms is a major part of the role.
- Knowledge of Google apps, including Gmail, in a domain environment is desired although not a necessity.
- Knowledge of Windows Server and related services (DHCP/DNS/AD/RADIUS).
- Understanding of network technologies (Cisco Meraki) would be advantageous, as would experience working with switches and routers.
- Experience with MDM software (Jamf & Intune) is desired although not a necessity.
- Strong troubleshooting skills & excellent communication skills.
