Relief Van Driver

- Transport clean, sealed samples from various food producers around Ireland to our Laboratory in Newbridge
- Plan out your routes in advance and ensure you meet delivery deadlines
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods
- Report any accidents, violations, or defects in your vehicle to the Customer Operations Manager or designate
- Responsible for completing daily documentation to ensure delivery records are up to date
- Liaise with customers and colleagues in a friendly and positive manner
- Comply with company policies, procedures and road safety regulations
- Be flexible in your role to deal with unexpected challenges calmly and efficiently
- A full, clean Irish driving licence
- Detailed knowledge of the road safety regulations
- Ability to load and unload goods to and from the van, the typical weight of products will be 1 - 15kg
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills
- Ability to use and read Sat-Nav systems
- A team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
- The ability to adapt to unexpected situations such as inclement weather or heavy traffic
