Our client is a leading international company specialising in the development, production, and distribution of agricultural machinery and related services. With a strong presence across Europe and globally, the company is recognised for its focus on quality, innovation, and efficiency, serving both local and international markets.Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Preparation of monthly financial packages including P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflow analysis
- Reporting of monthly financial package to HQ within 3 working days of month end
- Manage the day-to-day Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable function, including reviewing/signing off payments
- Preparing payment runs and managing cash
- Process monthly journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Preparing/submitting VAT returns
- Managing monthly bank reconciliations
- Budget/Cashflow preparation
- Preparation of the year-end accounts file and liaise with external accountants & tax consultants for year-end statutory accounts & annual tax returns
- Reporting of year-end financial package to HQ within 6 working days of year end
- SOX Reporting
- Seasonal Operational Management Reporting
- Continue to improve internal systems & controls
- Dealing with any IT issues which may arise and solving any IT problems in conjunction with the company’s IT consultants
- Other ad hoc projects and duties as required
- Qualified accountant with 0-3 years PQE in practice or industry
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with financial accounting and reporting systems
- Proficient in MS Office
- Aptitude to learn, willingness to progress and ability to assume responsibility
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with senior management
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work on own initiative
