- Perform a variety of routine and non-routine security and receptionist duties associated with access control, CCTV, door alarm and event monitoring using established policies and procedures. Maintain civil order, especially during facility emergency conditions.
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Report writing and site patrol duties.
- Lost and found duties and other back security duties, as required or specified from time to time.
- To immediately report all security and health and safety threats identified during all patrols.
- To ensure a detailed knowledge and understanding of all summary Post Orders and Site Operating Procedures.
- Patrol and respond to incidents around the site.
- Compliance of all relevant company policies and procedures.
- Provides support and coverage for access control badges and individual authorized access in accordance with policy.
- Key issuance/control.
- Assist with daily MOP’s (Method of Procedure) and coordinating with supervised escorts.
- Insure visitor, employee, contractor and vendor access compliance.
- Access control duties, to include static and or standing post as directed.
- Uniformed security personnel as per global standards.
- Relevant security background experience, licensing and certificates as applicable according to the local legislation.
- Excellent communication skills, with a courteous and professional manner.
- Exceptional reception and customer service skills.
- Fully flexible
- Familiarity and knowledge of MS Office products.
- Excellent observational skills Experience communicating via two-way radio.
- Must have a clean driving history with no "at fault" accidents within the last five (5) years
- Strong multi-tasking abilities.
- PSA Licence
- Must be available to work a fully flexible roster - days, nights and weekends
- Full-time 36 hours a week contract of employment with the ability to work up to 48 hours per week
