- Develop and execute the overall strategy for the fund accounting conversion program, owning the end-to-end project lifecycle for large-scale migrations.
- Establish and manage program governance, including defining KPIs, managing budgets, and allocating resources effectively.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of conversion specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Direct the strategy for data migration and oversee the reconciliation of complex fund structures, ensuring data integrity and control.
- Drive the analysis and re-engineering of fund accounting workflows to maximize efficiency and leverage new platform capabilities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing clear updates on program status, risks, and issues.
- Manage client relationships at a senior level, ensuring their requirements are understood and expectations are met throughout the conversion.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, ensuring all activities adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Broad experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or financial services operations.
- Proven experience in a leadership role managing large-scale projects and leading teams.
- Extensive, hands-on experience managing complex fund conversions and system migrations is mandatory.
- Deep understanding of various fund structures (e.g., mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity, ETFs) and their accounting requirements.
- Expert knowledge of fund accounting principles, financial instruments, and market practices.
- Strategic understanding of major fund accounting platforms (e.g., Investone, Multifonds, etc).
- Familiarity with data migration tools, ETL processes, and database concepts.
