Lairage Operative Kepak Kilbeggan

- Ensure the wellbeing of livestock during their time at the facility.
- Carefully move livestock to designated holding pens with minimal stress.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the lairage facilities.
- Monitor the flow of livestock to ensure the abattoir is adequately supplied.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Take on additional tasks as requested by management.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but full training is available for those new to the field.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills are essential.
- Self-motivated and able to use initiative.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience with livestock is desirable but not mandatory.
- A Certificate of competence is desirable but not a requirement.
