ref. 01309Scrum MasterAsset Recruitment is seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a contract position, on behalf of our client, a global pharmaceutical company based in Co. Tipperary. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile Scrum processes within cross-functional teams responsible for digital transformation, software development or process improvement projects.You will be responsible for guarantee that the Agile practices are effectively applied, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements from authorities such as FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11. This role also assists validation, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives critical to cGMP.This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days a week on site.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Facilitate Scrum Events by leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives with pharmaceutical project teams.
  • Guide teams and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum framework tailored to regulated environments.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized and compliant product backlog aligned with business and regulatory needs.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams including Quality, Regulatory, IT, and Operations.
  • Track sprint progress, team velocity, and deliverables; provide transparent reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and regulatory or quality assurance groups to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate daily scrum and the sprint planning meeting for all sprint teams.
  • Working with sprint teams and stakeholders to schedule the various meetings (demo, redemo, discussions, etc).
  • Reviewing the planner and working with sprint teams to get the status of the tasks in planner updated
  • Resolve the queries raised by sprint teams and work with them to ensure attendance is updated.
  • Ensure Automation compliance with Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute cGMP in the performance of day-to-day activities and all applicable job functions.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in managing and supporting digital systems, software platforms, or industrial control systems.
  • Proficiency with relevant digital tools and platforms specific to the industry (e.g., SCADA, MES, ERP, cloud services).
  • Strong technical knowledge of system integration, networking, databases, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, cybersecurity certifications) are a plus.
