A skilled Maintenance Electrician is required to support plant reliability and production in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality electrical maintenance across a 24/7 operation, working 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.Key Responsibilities:

Carry out electrical fault finding, breakdown response, and troubleshooting
Execute planned preventative and corrective maintenance programmes
Maintain and upgrade electrical systems including MCCs, control panels, and motor control circuits
Perform basic PLC diagnostics and inverter/VSD fault finding
Support instrumentation and control system maintenance
Complete CMMS work orders accurately and on time
Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
Assist with installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
Ensure all work is completed to the highest HSEQ standards

Requirements:

Qualified Electrician (QQI/FETAC Level 6 Advanced Craft Certificate or equivalent)
3+ year's experience in an industrial maintenance environment
Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience in manufacturing settings
Working knowledge of PLCs, inverters/VSDs, and control systems
Experience with CMMS and good computer skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
