Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (electronics)

• Design Verification Test and Production Verification Test: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans protocols for electronic components and systems with the support of the developers. This includes functional, performance, and reliability testing.
• Process Improvement and Internal Audits: Continuously evaluate and enhance quality assurance processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in electronic product manufacturing.

• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and analyse electronic product failures and defects to identify root causes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions. Develop 8D reports.
• Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality standards, conduct audits, and ensure the quality of electronic components sourced from external suppliers. Check that all ECR of incoming goods have been implemented. Technical support of the factories when the First Time Pass Rate falls under standard.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of quality assessments, test results, and compliance documentation. Prepare detailed reports on quality performance and improvement initiatives.
• Quality Training: Provide training and guidance to new team members and production staff on quality standards and best practices within the electronic environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and excellence in electronic product quality.
• Quality Control Machine: Create new set-ups, program to automate sample testing of new product

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality assurance within an electronic manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and systems.
• Ability to read and analyse electronic circuit diagrams
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic products.
• Experience with IPC-A-610
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality electronic products.
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) is a plus.
• Labview is a plus
