Train Driver Westport House Estate:Objectives of the RoleDriving the road train around the estate, providing lifts to all ticked passengers.Reporting to: Head of Adventure, Adventure ManagerThe ideal candidate will have a passion for interacting with people from all walks of life, to drive a safe, consistent, and quality guest experience and support staff in delivering in their areas of responsibility.Job DescriptionTo conduct the driving of our road train at Westport Estate typically between the hours of 08.00 19:00 and during our Winter wonderland event typically between the hours of 09.00 and 21.30, variable subject to schedule.Duties and responsibilities· Working in a flexible manner and as part of a team which may require unsocial hours. Ability to work weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.· Contribute positively to the public profile of the company in your presentation, (wear uniform), and friendly approachable demeanour. Show leadership at all times.· Promote environmental awareness and sustainability. Encourage staff to be conscientious in promoting our sustainability policies.· Liaise with Adventure Park staff to ensure the security and provision of equipment necessary to run the day’s activities.· Ensure there is a written record of all incidents or accidents and report to management team.· Ensure maintenance items are recorded and passed to the management or on duty maintenance team.· Deliver a fantastic customer experience.Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
Full Clean Category D License
Driver CPC
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Working knowledge and application of sector specific Risk assessments, Safety Procedures and Operational guidelines.
First Aid Qualification
Flexible approach to working hours.
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Maintain and expect high standards of honesty, integrity, reliability, and punctuality.
