Our staff hold a genuine interest and passion in caring for our residents as their own parents or grandparents, and this is essential in achieving and keeping the high standard that we set for ourselves.About the roleThe Laundry Attendant is responsible for collecting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry items including residents' personal clothing, bedding, towels, and facility linens. This role is essential in maintaining hygiene and comfort standards for residents in accordance with health and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:

Collect and sort laundry from resident rooms and facility bins.
Operate commercial washing machines and dryers.
Use appropriate detergents and disinfectants, following infection control procedures.
Inspect items for stains or damage and report issues to the supervisor.
Fold, hang, and organize clean laundry.
Distribute laundered items to resident rooms and designated storage areas.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry area.
Follow all safety and infection prevention protocols.
Record and report laundry usage and supply needs.
Respect residents’ privacy and personal belongings.
Support occasional deep cleaning tasks if needed.
