- Provide clear, practical employment law advice to HR and business leaders across multiple EMEA jurisdictions
- Enable informed decision-making on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, terminations, and restructures
- Support complex workforce changes such as reorganizations, reductions in force, and cross-border mobility
- Ensure alignment with regional employment regulations, including EU directives, local labor laws, and consultation requirements
- Manage employment litigation and administrative claims, including coordination with external counsel and oversight of strategy and budgets
- Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, Employee Relations, Compliance, global legal) to address overlapping regulatory and workforce issues
- Lead or contribute to regional initiatives such as policy development, process improvements, compliance audits, and global employment programs
- Qualification as a lawyer in at least one EMEA jurisdiction (Ireland or UK preferred)
- 7–12 years of employment law experience, including advising on multi-country matters; in-house experience in a multinational environment is valued
- Strong knowledge of European employment law frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Experience with works councils, employee representative bodies, and collective consultation processes
- Ability to manage external counsel and oversee complex disputes and investigations
- Strong judgment with the ability to translate legal concepts into practical business guidance
- Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions in a fast-moving, global environment with strong stakeholder and organizational skills
