In keeping with our Planet Passionate sustainability strategy, our mission is to accelerate a net zero emissions future built environment with the wellbeing of people and planet at its heart.About the RoleReporting to the Plant Manager, the Quality and Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing quality management systems, compliance frameworks, and internal controls to ensure the organization meets regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer expectations. This role ensures adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, while driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellenceKey Responsibilities· Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions, being aware of emergency procedures including the evacuation and fire precaution procedures.· Working with the senior management team to develop and maintain quality and compliance strategies, KPI’s and policies for the business.· Maintaining the Quality Management Systems (IMS, EN1090, ISO 9001, ISO 37301, etc…).· Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements to ensure company policies and practices are up to date.· Oversee and conduct regular internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions· Lead quality assurance activities, including process validation, documentation control, and performance monitoring.· Act as primary contact for external auditors, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities.· Develop and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of quality and compliance initiatives.· Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D, Sales/Marketing, Procurement, Operations, HR, legal, and senior management to embed compliance into business processes.· Investigate and resolve non-conformances, incidents, and customer complaints in a timely manner.· Prepare reports for executive leadership and regulatory agencies as needed.· Develop and implement a quality road map for the site ensuring ongoing continuous improvement.· Monitor the Product Compliance Register ensuring all products and systems sold by Tate Europe are present and comply with relevant standards/regulations· Collaborating with fellow managers in the development, implementation and ownership of a strategy plan for operations· Any other reasonable duties as and when required and requested. The title of your job does not define or limit your employment.Qualifications, Experience & SkillsEducation:· Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).· Professional certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) are a plus.Experience:· 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or risk management, preferably in [industry – e.g., pharmaceuticals, manufacturing].· Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards.· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.· Strong communication and leadership abilities with experience influencing cross-functional teams.· Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously· Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment is preferred, roles with an engineering bias are advantageous.Skills· Must have a persistent manner and be able to succeed in a challenging environment.· Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels and drive all aspects of quality matters forward.· Strong exposure to liaising with members of other departments at all levels to resolve any Quality issues creating a partnership working environment both internally and with key customers.· Demonstrated lead with the ability to drive actions through data and KPI’s.· Structured, self-motivated and passionate about all aspects of quality and compliance.· Result oriented individual who is comfortable dealing with cross-functional teams.· To actively promote Kingspan Tate both internally and externally.· Respect the safety and well-being of all colleaguesStay connected with us on for insights into life at Tate.Tate is an equal-opportunity employer.
