OverviewOur client is seeking to hire a graduate engineer (Civil or Structural) to provide comprehensive fastener specifications and technical solutions across construction and engineering projects. The role encompasses technical consultancy, on-site inspections, and business development across the UK, Ireland, and Netherlands markets.Key Responsibilities
Lead technical consultations with stakeholders to determine appropriate product specifications, including direct engagement with end-users, consulting engineers, architects, and contractors.
Conduct site inspections and attend technical meetings to ensure proper implementation of specifications.
Perform complex engineering calculations and analysis, including wind load calculations and structural assessments.
Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications using industry-standard CAD software.
Support business development initiatives through technical presentations and client meetings across Ireland.
Conduct testing duties in-situ as required.
Additional technical duties as directed by the Technical Director
Required Qualification
Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering accredited by a relevant professional body.
Full clean driving license
Technical Competences
Demonstrated ability to perform complex structural calculations and wind load analysis.
Proven experience in specification and application in construction projects.
Comprehensive understanding of Irish building regulations and European technical standards.
Proficiency with engineering software including CAD and structural analysis tools.
Knowledge of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
Understanding of in-situ testing procedures (training will be provided).
