Salary: Competitive, based on experienceOur client, a leading company in the electrical contracting sector, is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their growing team. This role involves preparing accurate and timely estimates for projects from pre-tender to post-tender stages, ensuring commercial and technical risks are carefully considered.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare structured and detailed cost estimates for electrical projects.
- Review supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and compliance.
- Support value engineering and product substitution opportunities.
- Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the estimating process.
- Input accurate take-offs into estimating software to determine project prime costs.
- Collaborate with teams in both Ireland and the UK to meet revenue targets and ensure project consistency.
- Min. 5 years previous experience in electrical estimating or a related role.
- Knowledge of electrical installations is advantageous.
- Degree in Engineering or a similar discipline preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Understanding of health and safety considerations within the industry.
