For information, visit .Role Title: Senior Pricing AnalystBU/Segment: Financial Planning and AnalysisLocation: Dublin, Republic of Ireland (Flexible hybrid working)Employment Type: PermanentSummary of the role:As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing strategies, negotiations, and financial modeling. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of activities, including building various commercial models, leading pricing discussions and negotiations, evaluating deal assumptions, and collaborating with various stakeholders. This role requires a strong background in deal pricing, leadership experience, and a keen analytical mind.As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
  • Commercial Modeling: Develop various commercial models, including T&M, Fixed Bid, Transaction/Outcome-based, Gain Share, and Value-based pricing. Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis, price walks, and GAP analysis.
  • Pricing Negotiations: Spearhead pricing discussions and commercial negotiations with confidence and conviction. Conduct 'on-the-fly' analysis and quick number crunching during negotiations.
  • Contractual Terms: Be responsible for customer pricing submissions and finalize contractual commercial terms and conditions.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in client solution workshops, prepare and present financials during customer presentations, and interact with clients and advisors throughout the pursuit.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate deal assumptions, risks, and rewards, as well as client submissions and commitment. Educate stakeholders on potential upsides and pitfalls.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including solution/transition/delivery teams and their tower leads, to ensure clear communication of timeframes, expectations on pricing inputs, and deal review submissions.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership in complex and bespoke deal structures. Own pricing decisions and align them with organizational objectives.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and maintain a repository of price levers. Perform trend analysis of major variables.
Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:
  • Expertise in end-to-end pricing processes, strategies, and influencing factors.
  • Proven track record in pricing submissions, negotiations, and building pricing structures from scratch.
  • Strong analytical skills to align pricing models with proposed solutions and overall business strategy
  • Experience: 4-6 years of overall work experience, with a minimum of five immediate years in executing deal pricing roles and team handling, preferably in the IT Services/ITES/IT product or BPO industry.
  • Pricing Strategy Expertise: Develop and execute pricing strategies for our entire range of products and services.
  • Have a sound understanding and knowledge of pricing terms which are generally known to the global pricing resource (such as, COLA, Fx).
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&Ls, cash flows, and a solid grasp of finance and numbers.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong number-crunching and analytical skills.
  • Multi-tasking: Ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and perform under high pressure and stringent deadlines.
  • Quick Learner: Must be a quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proposal Management: Experience in leading and managing bids, along with authoring proposals.
  • Innovation: Carry a good sense of innovation, thoughtful thinking, and a passion to transform.

  • Collaborate on pricing proposals for large accounts and complex deals.
  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Utilise data analytics tools and techniques to evaluate pricing performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models that consider factors such as cost, demand, and competitive positioning.
  • Strategic Thinking: Contribute to the overall business strategy by providing insights and recommendations related to pricing.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging market dynamics to adapt pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of pricing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure the team's success.
  • Communication Skills: Communicate pricing strategies, changes, and updates clearly and persuasively to both internal teams and external clients.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on pricing strategy to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Ensure that pricing decisions align with the company's commitment to delivering value and quality to clients.
  • Balance profitability goals with maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in pricing calculations and contract terms.
  • Thoroughly review pricing proposals and agreements to mitigate potential risks.
