Access Healthcare is looking for a Support Worker to join our team in Galway. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a Residential Healthcare Setting.The ideal Support Worker will be experienced in similar settings and have the ability to collaborate with team members and take direction when instructed. The service is a residential setting in Galway City, Galway. The Support Worker will be working with service users with Physical and Intellectual Disabilities.The main duty of the role will be using your experience and healthcare skills to offer service users support and provide the best personal care possible.This is a fantastic opportunity to help those who need it most in Galway.Hours:Days: 08:00-20:00Nights: 20:00-08:00Opportunities for morning and evening shifts also.Pay Rates:Base: 15.00-20.00 per hour – subject to experience and trainingsNights/Sundays/Bank Holidays: premium ratesWhat’s we offer:

Provide compassionate, person-centred care
Support individuals with daily living needs

Work closely with a professional healthcare team

What we’re looking for in a Healthcare Assistant:

QQI Level 5 in Healthcare
At least 6 weeks experience in Healthcare in Ireland
Practical Trainings – CPR/First Aid/Patient Moving and Handling (in date)
MAPA/CPI/TCI/STUDIO III – not mandatory but highly desirable.
Up-To-Date HSELand Certificates
Eligibility to work in Ireland
