Your role will be responsible for the team and the day-to-day management of our frameworks and driving value through our CTTO strategic partnerships with a strong emphasis on best practice in governance, process controls and reporting. The role holder will build strong senior level relationships across our technology, finance and legal teams while leading the execution and management of our strategic partner procurement frameworks.
We will look to you to provide subject matter expertise and leadership insights which drive and unlock value across framework governance, process controls and procurement regulations to the team and wider company as well as presenting to leadership and externally at key forums.In your role, you will manage the setup of complex procurement frameworks in accordance with our strategic plans and procurement regulations and you will have the opportunity to work across all areas of the business and engage with key decision makers including the Executive Team and the EirGrid Board.You will provide direction for the team, allocating resources to meet priorities and working with the Head of Strategic Partner and Vendor Management to manage issues as they arise.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic partner frameworks that underpin major transformation programmes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Provide high-impact governance insights and reporting to senior leadership, including the Executive Team and Board, enabling informed decision-making and strategic oversight of technology and transformation frameworks.
- Act as a senior liaison across legal, procurement, finance, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of frameworks and compliance with OJEU and public procurement standards.
- Champion continuous improvement on frameworks for governance, controls, and reporting processes, embedding best practices across in CTTO.
- Provide subject matter expertise and leadership insights which drive and unlock value across CTTO frameworks to enable delivery of our technology and transformation programme to the team and wider company as well as presenting to leadership and externally at key forums.
- Lead out on implementing framework and governance improvements such as skill to develop out the centre of excellence.
- Provide direction for the team, allocating resources to meet priorities and working with the Head of Strategic Partner and Vendor Management to manage issues as they arise.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field - Business Administration, Legal, Project Management or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience implementing and leading team in day-to-day management of strategic partner frameworks, contracts, processes and controls and working with delivery teams, procurement and legal to execute framework and tender documentation and call offs.
- Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale technology or transformation procurement programmes, with a strong track record of successful delivery.
- Experience in designing and implementing dashboard reporting based on data driven insights, metrics and KPI's across complex portfolio of strategic partners and contracts.
- Deep governance, procurement framework, contract and process controls expertise in European OJEU and public procurement methodologies, and proficiency with partner management tools and software.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build, lead and develop high-performing, multidisciplinary teams through change programmes.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Knowledge of energy systems, markets, or experience in regulated, public sector or government environments is advantageous.
- A passion for transformation, continuous improvement, and a strong customer focus.
