- Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
- Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion in line with budget.
- Proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely and correct applications.
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage delivery of project KPIs, programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
- Manage contract changes effectively, ensuring governance compliance and adoption of best practices.
- Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
- Resolve contractual disputes and support risk mitigation strategies.
- Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status and/or educated to degree level preferred.
- Successful experience of delivering rail projects in a commercial environment.
- Experience of mentoring and/or management.
- Knowledge of railway and construction industry conditions of contract.
- Ability to work on contracts independently.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
