On-Site Retail Operations Manager

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the supermarket, ensuring efficiency and profitability
• Lead, train, and motivate the management team and staff to deliver exceptional standards across all departments
• Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health, safety, and food regulations
• Work closely with department managers to achieve sales, margin, and waste targets
• Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor KPI performance
• Ensure high standards of merchandising, stock control, and store presentation
• Drive customer service excellence and resolve customer queries efficiently
• Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture that supports teamwork and staff development
• Liaise with senior management on business performance, initiatives, and future planning

• Minimum 3-5 years’ management experience in a retail or supermarket environment
• Proven ability to manage store operations and deliver on KPIs
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams
• Commercially focused with strong analytical and financial management skills
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication abilities
• Strong knowledge of stock management, merchandising, and customer service best practices
• Flexible to work a full-time roster including weekends and evenings as required
