Gi Group Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Rigid truck Driver to join our client in Roscommon.
The role will predominantly be based in the West of Ireland, delivering products directly to the customer. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers and distribution points. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 12.5 tonne, Category C rigid truck to transport goods between locations
Load and unload goods while ensuring proper handling and securing of goods
Follow scheduled routes and meet delivery deadlines
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues or needed repairs
Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and health & safety regulations

Required Knowledge and Skills

Valid Category C driving license (Essential)
Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
Proven experience in truck driving and goods delivery
Good knowledge of road safety and regulations
Strong time management and organisational skills
Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (as needed)
