- Proven track record in a Production Management role, ideally within the food manufacturing sector.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to plan and oversee day-to-day operations while driving performance improvements.
- Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control.
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- A hands-on, proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Lead, motivate, and support supervisors and production teams to ensure targets are achieved.
- Manage and oversee production processes to ensure efficient use of plant, equipment, and resources.
- Ensure all health, safety, and food safety requirements are met across operations.
- Deliver customer orders on time and in line with quality specifications.
- Prepare and monitor departmental budgets to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
- Monitor output and performance against KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime through effective scheduling.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure full compliance with audits, legislation, and food safety standards.
- Maintain strong cross-departmental communication to identify and resolve operational challenges.
- Keep up to date with developments in production technologies and recommend improvements.
- Provide support and advice to senior management on all production-related matters.
- Drive a culture of accountability, efficiency, and quality throughout the production team.
