Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to the following: General Responsibility The Avionics Crew Leader is responsible for crew performance and development. This includes, but is not limited to, individual performance, competence assessment, training, motivation, performance and discipline. The Avionics Crew Leader will also be responsible for: Take full responsibility and ownership of their assigned work area/zone for the duration of the check Compliance with the organisation policies and procedures detailed in the Atlantic Aviation Group MOE and supporting manuals Adhere to safety and deactivation and/or reactivation requirements, complying with the AAT Safety policy at all times. Responsible for maintaining your assigned work area/ zone to the highest 5S standard ensuring it is clean and safe at all times. If particular policies, legislation or standards apply to your work area/ zone, ensure this is clearly communicated to your team in a timely manner and appropriately monitored and enforced. Complying with the Atlantic Aviation Group internal and mandatory reporting requirements Complying with the work interruption and handover procedures. Participate in developing a schedule for the zone of responsibility in association with the Avionics Production Controller, Planner/ Scheduler and other employees. Allocate work and monitor to ensure work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Candidate Requirements A minimum of 4 years leadership experience Knowledge of the Aviation Regulations (EASA and FAA) is desirable Proficient in use of MSOffice applications Detail oriented with exceptional time management and multi-tasking ability Excellent coordinating and organizational skills Must be able to perform well under pressure Ability to work independently and meet aggressive schedules Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills, teambuilding skills, and the ability to persuade others without creating adversarial relationships. Works closely with project team members to resolve problems with assigned projects Fluent in English (written and spoken) Ability to manage and lead with respect and encouragement - recognising key contributions and adhering to our “Employee Orientated “culture Implementation and integration of our values and pillars as a constant way of operating An ambitious, agile and honest individual, committed to team
