- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, but not essential
- Ideal for someone working towards a Chef qualification or looking to further develop their culinary career
- A genuine passion for cooking and a creative approach to food
- Ability to follow instructions and produce dishes to a high standard
- Basic understanding of HACCP standards or willingness to learn
- Awareness of stock control and waste management practices
- Flexibility to meet business needs, including early and late shifts
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality dishes during service
- Ensure all ingredients and stock are stored under optimal conditions
- Prepare and organise mis-en-place in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your assigned section
- Assist with the development of new dishes and menus
- Participate in training and development to enhance your skills
- Help the Executive Head Chef & Head Chef with maintaining Health & Safety standards
- Support waste management and ensure food is used effectively
