Do you want to work with a market-leading global hedge fund, with a stellar reputation in the market as an employer of choice in their field? We are looking for a fully qualified accountant to join their growing team in Dublin.With all the benefits that come with this role (amazing bonus, pension, health insurance, annual salary review, etc.), this role will give you the chance to build something new in Ireland for the firm.This role would be an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work with an employer with a strong company culture and wants the flexibility of hybrid working, a city centre office location, and the ability to work on your own initiative whilst being supported by senior management both locally and globally.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee fund accounting, including NAV calculations, performance reporting, and expense allocations
  • Manage third-party administrators and review monthly/quarterly books
  • Assist with year-end audits and ensure proper accounting treatment for transactions
  • Monitor cash reconciliation, interest, and dividend accruals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent
  • Full ACCA or ACA qualification
  • 3-5 years' experience in financial services (hedge fund/private equity)
  • Prior big 4 experience preferred
  • Solid knowledge of fixed income instruments, derivatives, and alternative fund structures
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
