We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our clients, a leading manufacturer in North Mayo. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of setters and operators, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced precision engineering environment.Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily production activities to meet targets, maintain quality & safety standards.
Requires the management of staff, optimising processes for efficiency, troubleshooting equipment and processes and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Directing production teams to ensure efficient & timely production.
Improving processes to maximise efficiency, quality & safety.
Implementing production plans and scheduling personnel to meet strategic goals.
Identifying & resolving issues with equipment and production processes to minimize downtime.
Ensure products are provided to customers on time, meeting product quality, yield, operating costs and process efficiencies.
Facilitate training, conduct daily production planning meetings and organise reviews with operators.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a CNC machining/precision engineering environment.
Strong understanding of CNC turning, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with CNC controls.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
