Social Care Leader + Social Care Worker (Disability Service)

• Provide person-centred support in daily living, personal care, community inclusion, and independent living skills.
• Promote dignity, choice, and emotional wellbeing in line with New Directions.
• Support service users as a Key Worker and contribute to personal plans.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in safeguarding and quality improvement.

• Lead and support a team of Social Care Workers, promoting reflective practice and accountability.
• Deputise for management where required and contribute to daily operations.
• Chair meetings, set agendas, and ensure follow-up on actions.
• Support staff development, supervise performance, and encourage professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA, New Directions, and relevant legislation.

• Level 7 or higher qualification in Applied Social Care or equivalent.
• CORU registration or proof of application (mandatory from 30 Nov).
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Commitment to supporting people with disabilities.
• For Social Care Leader: minimum 2 years’ experience at Social Care grade, supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of HIQA/Tusla standards.
