
Business Development Executive

- Identify and engage potential customers through market research, prospecting, and cold calling.
- Present the company's services and generate interest in MedTech development solutions.
- Qualify opportunities and schedule high-quality discovery calls.
- Collaborate with senior sales leads on consultative sales processes from lead generation to closing deals.
- Partner with marketing to identify relevant networking events and book client meetings.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, expanding sales territories.
- Attend client visits in Ireland and across Europe (occasional travel required).
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in HubSpot CRM.
- Learn best-practice sales techniques from senior sales executives.
- Collaborate with project managers and design engineers on medical device design projects.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering (preferred).
- 2-3 years' experience in a sales role, ideally involving outbound prospecting.
- High energy, proactive attitude, and strong communication skills.
- Excellent organisation, research, and multitasking ability.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot) and Microsoft Office.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Career progression into a Technical Sales role after 6-12 months.
